Section titled “2026-08-23”The ax2/zifile repository and crates.io name appeared available. The machine had Rust, Node, pnpm, Git, and authenticated GitHub CLI. Iced 0.14 met the Rust-UI spike requirement but remained experimental; Astro Starlight fit repository-owned product, architecture, development, and release documentation.
The work created the core/CLI/desktop workspace, capability registry, detection, safety limits, Iced shell, CLI, Starlight site, roadmap, ADRs, security/testing docs, CI, Pages, release, benchmark, and smoke structure.
Strict Clippy, five core unit tests, the foundation smoke, an initial detection benchmark, and the 12-page Starlight build passed. Main-branch CI and GitHub Pages succeeded and the documentation endpoint returned HTTP 200. An unavailable legacy local Cargo index was bypassed with a temporary HTTPS sparse mirror without changing global settings or repository configuration.
Remaining Stage 0 evidence covered Iced large lists, IME, accessibility, DPI, high contrast, Partner Center name reservation, signing, and Provider selection/security review; later stages track their current status.
